Acrylic on Linen Birthday Picture............... I did my imaginary party alone on the canvas. seems like one way to celebrate as the fact that I am still able to smear and scratch out images is a nice present.

I used the unfinished painting that I have been working on as my model and just synthesized some of the many ideas as directly as possible. The results are surprising and legible to me if not to all.

This piece is part of the series I started last summer of impulsive drawing/paintings which I find a bit daunting. I do not know if people will see what I see in these pictures yet I am excited to find that some to whom I have shown them are able to read them. More, they like them.......
