Old Man in Yellow

So i am back in the studio and after the hot Summer this old man painted in Yellow and Red and some Blue, hey the primary colors!!! I am pleased to be at the easel and while listening to the Rai3 radio I slipped into the colors and the old guy just was there, so was the little woman.

Once again through my tooling about in forms. figures and compositional games I came to the central theme which underpins so much of my work. The Zoo, the Circus the Looney Bin that all families are beneath the dress up of appearing normal. The dressing up and becoming a beast of some sort.
